My presentation at RILSRT on 23rd September, 2010

Here is myself. I presented three types of MDOF-CR(Multiple-Degree of Freedom Cavity Resonator) applications.

Three applications are:
1) Standard MCAP-CR
2) CBS-CR
3) AICC-CR
These are true MDOF-CR applications.
More detailed information is in Japanese only. I will upload them in English later. When? I am not sure..



These applications have exactly the same appearances as in the left photographs.

These applications impressed the attendees because of powerful low frequency response with small 3" full-range drivers (TB W3-881SJ).

Mechanical Matrix MMX Speaker System

 I noticed that installing speaker drivers both L and R channel to same chamber makes stereo effects more than ten year ago. It was a test model for MCAP-CR application. Primary focus was to verify if thin film bottle could substitute for speaker driver membrane. The answer was "no"; however, it was found thin film bottle can be used as MCAP-CR subchamber. This system has both L and R drivers in the main wood chamber. I was curious about stereo effect, though L and R were installed closely. I recently tested above effect with 8" full-range drivers (photograph below). This model has two (L & R) FE206E frivers in same chamber. Real sound field effect was given by this system in big room. Now let us see the system of electrical matrix speaker system (let us call "EMX" speaker system) below: EMX is electrical wiring system with unbalanced amplifier whose negative terminal is grounded. Copied design?

Previous post may have not make readers understand. Here is the story. My site has contacting application to me. This application enable anyone to contact me directly through the web site: http://mcap.webcrow.jp/ . One person gave me information about suspected copy of my design. MCAP-CR is patented in Japan. Though it does not apply to some countries, but my copyright is protected. When I am asked for the use of the patented idea, I always allowed to use for free with the following conditions: Patent information and permission by the patent holder is noted. Indicate the website of the patent holder. Indicate the patent holder's information. Use the manufacturer's original design . I am happy to help manufacturers to give simulation. MMX Drawing example

 MMX is abbreviation of Mechanical Matrix loudspeaker system, which was described in the previous blog article. Without hearing an example system, it will be difficult to imagine its sound field.
