RRESTRICTION OF FILE SIZE OF THE WEBSITE

I recently noticed that the single file size is limited to only 250kB by FC2 free website. Therefore, some simulation program files were deleted by server. I have to find how to avoid this restriction. I know that standard paid service can avoid this restriction; however, I do not get any money from this research! I want to use free web service, unless there comes any sponsor... I feel sad research does not make money...

New Simulator Release

How are your holidays? New simulator is just released. Latest simulator runs a number of simulation cases at the same time. You can just add some volume to certain chamber or adjust duct size a little bit and estimate where the best design is. Just try. It is easy. Manual is included in the package. Do you enjoy Christmas holidays? I wish you Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I noticed that this blog has not been updated. I would like to resume Field Presenter Application in January. I have been struggling with the MCAP-CR simulator. It is a CUI version, but CUI version is more important simulator than GUI version. I added new feature to the DFT version simulator. Last one required users lots of executions, because it can handle only one simulation case. Next version will be able to handle a number of simulation cases. It made me easier to find effects of chamber volume, duct size variations to frequency responses. I am sure it will help designing not only MCAP-CR simulators but also double-bass-reflex.

Released: Loudspeaker Simulator with Fourier Transform

New Loudspeaker response simulator with Fourier Transform was released. This is revision 1.0. Though it is character user interface (CUI) version, but function is powerful. New simulator is applicable to buffle , closed enclosure , bass-reflex enclosure , double bass-reflex enclosure , and standard MCAP-CR enclosure with up to 12 subchambers! Just to edit input parameter file, and run the simulator program from command prompt, then simulation results are generated as csv files. You may make plots, if you use spreadsheet software like (LibreOffice Calc, Microsoft Excel, etc.) Here is an example of simulation result. It is plotted by LibreOffice Calc. Below is the list of distributed files. Here is the input file. Just to edit this file and rung the executable, then results are generated as text file. You can compile the source file. Minor Change GUI

More than one year have passed since MCAP-CR simulator CUI version was released. I recently released minor change version with Windows Binary Executable file. New function is: Number of sub-chambers is not limited to 3 but 1, 2 or 3. You can now use this simulator to double-bass-reflex systems and also single-bass-reflex systems. For single-bass-reflex systems, increase volume of sub-chamber up to maximum (now 10 cubic-meters). This is just small change. In the next release, dumping coefficient can be set from GUI. Now one who can handle C language can modify source code and make damping coefficients adjustable, but original code sets all damping coefficients be zero. Enjoy simulator! Simulator for Windows x86 Executable version available

Windows Executable version of MCAP-CR Simulator with GUI is now available. Goto reference page and see bottom of the page. This is same as source package but you do not have to compile the source code. It was tested on Windows 7(64bit) and Windows XP(32bit). Source code was compiled by 64bit machine, but MinGW and Qt SDK was 32bit version, so that executable works with both 64bit and 32bit Windows OS. Multiple-Degree of Freedom Cavity Resonator Project

MCAP-CR Simulator with nice GUI is now available! This is still preliminary version, but good to play with. Try this! Prerelease GUI Simulator Comming soon

I am now developing MCAP-CR simulator in GUI format. C++ source code for CUI was released last year, but I had requests for GUI format. I got help from Mr. Osako through Japanese Blog page. He is real programmer but not loudspeaker developer. He gave me sample GUI program and I am modifying the sample for preferred use. Prerelease version is ready to go. I am now preparing for distribution, but I found that just executable file does not work with Windows system, while Linux system looks fine. I expect it will be available in this week. Qt is cute

Simulation program of standard MCAP-CR was released here . This program is good for ones who want to know move of  loudspeaker systems. We recall single bass reflex loudspeaker system is subset of MCAP-CR, so that it "could" be used for single bass reflex systems. I began to learn Qt for GUI programming. It would be nicer if it be distributed as software with GUI. Qt does not depend on any particular computer platform, so that it could be used for both Linux and Windows (Mac is a kind of Linux). Numerical Simulation of Standard MCAP-CR is ready!!!

Numerical Simulation Program of Standard MCAP-CR has been developed and report was released! Numerical Analysis will make it better to plan and design loudspeaker applications. Program source code will be provided upon request with written agreement. I had my new year in Istanbul. The first sunrize in Istanbul was beautiful. Recently, I learned more about OpenOffice Math. Until recently, I dis not recognize how OpenOffice Math was useful. I had used Microsoft Equation. I like it, but Microsoft equation was upgraded and it became to me very difficult to handle. I decided not to depend on Microsoft Office, so that I again tried to use OpenOffice, then found that OpenOffice Math was useful! I translated some of my technical documents of multiple degree of freedom cavity resonator application and uploaded. There are two new English documents here. New documents
